Our History

Grafton Full Gospel Church is a local church with a Global Mission. The church can trace it roots back to the Azzuza Street revival in Los Angelos California between 1905 and 1915. The church was originally located on Main Street in Grafton, Illinois and was a member of a mainline Pentecostal organization from the 1930's until the early 1990's.

In 1993 the church members voted in Rev. Samuel T. Williams as pastor of the church and also voted to become a chartered church of the Association of the International Gospel Assemblies in Desoto, Missouri a highly respected Pentecostal Organization. The church remained located on Main Street in Grafton until 1998. The Church purchased land at 15065 Elm Street located just off Illinois Route 3 East of Grafton between Otterville and Elsah Roads. Services were held in what is now the church Parsonage until a new building could be constructed.

Pastor Williams went to be with the Lord in Aug of 2004 and Rev. Walter Schultz was elected pastor of the church in 2005 and decided to resign in 2006. Rev Henry Gene Jackson was elected Pastor in July of 2006 and remained pastor until July 9th 2009 leaving the church to start a new church work in the Alton, Illinois area

The member of the church then elected Rev Samuel D Williams pastor of the church on July 2009 and he has served as pastor since. The church supports many other ministries and missions as part of their operations as well as serving the local community as a place to worship.
